About Captain Mike Ray

All I ever wanted to be was a pilot. I loved airplanes and aviation from the day

I first knew there were such things. I am one of those few fortunate human beings

to have lived out his dreams.

While passing through high school, I met this angelic creature who captured

my heart. I was fortunate enough to marry her and our adventure in life has

lasted over 40 marvelous years. Along the way we had two gorgeous

daughters and in turn four incredibly beautiful grand children. My heart is full.

Since retirement, sharing my experiences and knowledge about flying with

those interested has become an occupation for me. Mostly, I have concentrated

on the Flight Simulator community...because I think that here is the future of

aviation. I try to be the kind of guy that I would have wanted to know when I was

a young person.
